Donations not only help us, but the act of giving is heartwarming and brightens your soul. In the Bible, Acts 20:35 says, “ In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ “

We are grateful for contributions at any level. All donations are welcome, regardless of size or type. Because we are a 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation, your contributions may be tax deductible (please check with your accountant or tax professional for details).

PRODUCT AND SERVICE DONATIONS 

Not all contributions need be monetary. Local businesses and professionals frequently give of their time, talent and inventory. These are wonderful and valuable contributions, and make a big difference in our day-to-day operations.

If you have a product or service we might need, please call us. For example, we are currently appealing to professionals in transportation (specifically large passenger vans), home improvement and construction, and IT maintenance, hardware and software.

We are also interested in discussing excess product or stock items (large or small) you have that we might use in our offices and residential facilities.

CLOTHING, PERSONAL HYGIENE AND HOUSEHOLD DONATIONS

Often, clients arrive at Dare U To Care with little more than the clothes on their backs. We provide as much as we can from our small inventory. Here is where your donation of men’s and women’s clothing and shoes (all sizes) and personal grooming products can make a substantial difference to someone taking their firsts steps down the road to recovery.

Our residential facilities are stocked with the basics for good housekeeping, living and cooking. When you donate new or gently used furniture, home goods and accessories, or kitchen appliances and utensils, you allow our clients to enjoy some of the added comforts of true home life, just like many families. Email or call us to donate, or if you have any questions.

RECYCLABLES 

The cans and bottles you’d normally toss out can mean cash for Dare U To Care! Simply sort your cans and bottles, bag them up, and drop them off!  How easy is that?

If you’ve collected a large amount of recyclables, but can’t make it to Dare U To Care, call or email us! For large donations, we’ll arrange pickup if you are in our local area.  Simple but super!

GIFT CARDS

Many of us have half-used or unwanted gift cards taking up valuable space. Why not make a gift of those gift cards – or brand new ones – to Dare U To Care? You’ll be doing a good deed for a good cause.

We welcome gift cards from any business or bank, and in any amount. Cards from supermarkets, restaurants, discount department stores (like Wal-Mart and Target), and prepaid gift cards are especially appreciated. Simply mail (or drop off) your donation to our office during our normal business hours:
